SftPrintPreview/DLL is a DLL-based control for the Windows™ operating system, offering print preview and printing support for applications written using C,  C++ and MFC.

SftPrintPreview/DLL is a completely self-contained Print Preview control, offering numerous features speeding up the development of end-user applications requiring sophisticated print preview and printing support:

• Scalable preview (10% - 1000%)

• 1 to 64 pages at a time

• Built-in tool bar

• Customizable headers and footers

• Customizable page margins and gutter margin

• Built-in Page Setup dialog 

• Supports up to 999,999 pages

• Preview paired pages for duplex printing

• Customizable preview (colors, page spacing, etc.)

• Built-in support for SftTree/DLL and SftTree/OCX preview and printing (requires SftTree/DLL 5.0, SftTree/OCX 5.0 or newer)

• Built-in support for RichEdit control preview and printing

• Supports preview and printing of application-generated output

• Supports C and C++ (MFC)

• Customizable National Language Support

• UNICODE support on all supported Window platforms

Languages Supported

SftPrintPreview/DLL supports C, C++ and other languages when using the standard SendMessage Windows API.  The DLLs can be called using the definitions provided in the supplied header file.  In addition, SftPrintPreview/DLL is shipped with class definitions which support the Microsoft Foundation Class Library (MFC).

Environments Supported

The controls support the following run-time environments:

• 32-bit applications on Windows 98, Windows ME and Windows Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7, Windows 7 Server

• 64-bit support when running Windows XP x64, Windows Server 2003 x64, Windows Vista x64, Windows Server 2008 x64, Windows 7 x64, Windows 7 Server x64 with AMD 64-bit processors or Intel 64-bit processors

UNICODE support is available for all platforms.

Other platforms (including Windows CE, Pocket PC, Smartphone, etc.) are not supported. 

The following development environments are supported:

• 32-bit and x64 versions of Windows Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7, Windows 7 Server

Royalties

Any application that you develop can use SftPrintPreview/DLL royalty-free in run-time only mode; design-time features are not available. Each user (developer) who needs access to any portion of the product must license a copy of SftPrintPreview/DLL.
